February Monthly Challenger Meeting Moved to Bob’s Place!

Attention crew, this is the captain speaking with an update on Seaside Heights Community Center.
Just when you thought it was safe to hold a meeting at our favorite headquarters….well here’s the deal, the pipes that burst are fixed…that’s the good news. The bad news is that we’d have no heat as there was damage to the furnace and that repair work is currently incomplete. Yeah, swell.
We were told that due to this we should not meet there this month. That being the case, we’ll be back at the Vosseller household in the newly refitted and just about cleared living room (which will be completely cleared by Sunday) for our Feb. 4 meeting which starts with our C-Staff at noon and the general meeting will run from 1 to 4 pm as we discussed at our reorganization meeting.
I have not yet developed the agendas for either meeting and am open to suggestions about either agenda. Please e-mail your thoughts to the following addy, usschallengerco@gmail.com
It is unfortunate but at least we are seeing improved communication with the borough regarding our use of the facility and generally, more positive news. I believe one of our plans this month was to watch an episode of ST Discovery.
Take care, keep warm, see you at Sunday’s meeting. I will be informing our chief engineer, Ken Diehl about the change in venue.
